Metrics Update

Weekly Update:

Each week, we look at the Oregon Reopening Metrics Dashboard. Data for Lane County has been updated based on the last 14-day period (3/21-4/3).  The data link for Lane County is attached below this message. Based on this data; The absolute case count is 88.7 cases; The positivity rate is 2.2%. This is an increase in cases over the previous two week period. Lane county at this time falls in the On-Site and Hybrid Green zone.

What does this mean?

The increase in case counts is concerning but perhaps not unexpected after the Spring break.  Please help keep Lane County open by wearing face masks, social distancing, and  keeping children home when ill.

Under the new metrics, here, we are fully in the Green Zone. Currently, all OSD students are in onsite learning under the Hybrid model, 4 days per week/3 hours per day.  Those who chose to continue with online learning may do so.
