The Oakridge School District is happy to announce a partnership with the Oakridge Food Box. In order to support the Food Box who must vacate their current location by the end of the month, we are working together to house the Food Pantry at the west end of the Westridge School.
The operation of the food pantry will continue to be run as a drive up program. This means that patrons picking up food boxes will remain in their vehicles and volunteers will load food boxes into the vehicle. This is the current operating procedure and it will continue in the new location.
The program will not disrupt or intermingle with our Early Learning programs. Those involved in staffing the program are working with us to complete all mandatory procedures for those who are in our schools.
Thank you to the dedicated staff and volunteers at the Food Box who work so hard to ensure this resource is available to our community. You are amazing and appreciated.
Food Boxes are here at the High School and they look YUMMY!
(pssst: I think there are Danimals yogurt in there :)

Hello Parents,
There is no school today 4/14 and tomorrow 4/15 for OES students. High school students do have school today 4/14, no school on 4/15. This is due to parent teacher confrences. Have a great weekend everyone!
Oakridge Junior High Track team will have a meet today in Pleasent Hill. Track meet starts at 3:45pm. Students need to be at the High School by 2:00pm for the bus. Good luck today!
The Oakridge School District is on a 2 hour delay due to road conditions in the outlying area.
This message is to let you know the Oakridge School District will be releasing students on time/schedule this afternoon. We have determined an early release is not needed.
Please do keep your eye on the weather over night. If there is a delay or closure we will send post the information via Flash Alert, SMS and voice messages, our website, app, and facebook.
Happy Monday!
As you are aware there is a Winter Storm Warning in affect in our area. We are keeping a close eye on the conditions and how thy may impact student and staff transportation at the end of the day. If it becomes necessary to dismiss school early, we will send out a robo call to our parents, text message to our parents, post on our facebook page and Flash Alert.
At this time there is not a plan to dismiss, this communication is to both let you know it is upmost in our minds and a heads up in case.
