We are currently looking for Parents and or Guardians of children enrolled in the Junior Senior High School to participate in our Site Council. The Site Council meets monthly and discusses professional development of staff and improvement of instructional programs for our students. This is for a one year term and your participation could change the school for the better. Anyone interested or that would like to nominate a parent and or guardian please send their requests to Principal Tracy Ross @ tross@ohswarriors.net by Thursday, September 30th, 2021.

Transportation Update From First Student and The Oakridge School District
This message is to let families with students on the Route D bus know that Route D will run 30 minutes late the week of 9-13. First Student continues to work on the routes. At this time there is still a shortage of bus driver's. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on this.
The Oakridge School District is excited to be currently enrolling and conducting intakes for Oakridge Academy K-12 (O.A.K.). If you are interested in enrollment, please fill out the posted "Pre-Interest Form" found in the News section of our website (picture of a boy with books on this head). We will schedule an intake session, which is much like a question and answer appointment. We will do this no later than September 13th. The 16th is our cut-off date for changes. Phone Repair Underway

of this week, September 8, 9, and 10. That means they will be released
to go home at 11:15am.
Good morning. Bus route D will be running 60 minutes late this morning. First Student has been able to adjust routes after the first day. They anticipate being able to do so again as ridership evens out this week. Keep an eye out for more information on route schedules.
Good afternoon. This is a message from the Oakridge School District. The purpose of this message is to clear up communication around bus routes for this school year. Please know that bus services are status quo in our district. As you may be aware there are driver shortages across our country. In Oakridge we also are down a few drivers, temporarily. This will cause some routes to be late and doubled up as shared previously. Nevertheless we will continue to transport our students.
Please know that transportation services will not be cancelled. The communication that was sent out was in error.
Due to very poor air quality, we are forced to cancel Jr. High football practice tonight, Tuesday, September 7th.
We are planning on starting tomorrow if the AQI allows. Players will meet in front of the High School and ride the bus out to Westridge. Parents will need to pick up their athletes at 6pm in Westridge.
FYI release buses are running at least 15 minutes late. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this morning. Buses are on the way to pick up students. If your child does not get picked up please call and we will ensure they are brought to the school.
At this time we are short bus drivers and must run Route D late for at least the first or two day. Bus D will run one hour late in the morning for the first days of school. We are sorry for the delay. Once we have run the routes the 2 days, we will know how many riders thee are and can rearrange routes if possible. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this temporary shortage.
If you decide to transport your child in light of the delay, please call First Student to let them know your child will be riding so they are counted in the total number on the route. 541-782-3090.
