🌟🧸 Help Us Spread Joy and Warmth to Little Ones! 🌈👗
📢 Attention, everyone! We're excited to announce our upcoming Children's Clothing Drive, where we aim to bring smiles and comfort to children in need. ❤️
👶👧👦 As the summer season unfolds, let's come together as a community and make a difference in the lives of our little ones who deserve our care and support. From toddlers to teens, every child should have access to clean, comfortable clothes that help them feel confident and loved.
👕👖👗 We invite you to join us by donating gently used or new children's clothing items. Whether it's outgrown outfits, clothes your children no longer wear, or brand-new pieces, each contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of these young hearts.
🎁✨ Here's how you can participate:
1️⃣ Gather: Go through your closets and drawers, and find any children's clothing items that are in good condition and can be passed along. We are in need of Kindergarten thru 5th grade sizes in particular.
2️⃣ Sort: Separate the clothes into different categories, such as age groups or sizes, to help us distribute them efficiently.
3️⃣ Donate: Drop off your donations at The District Office at 76499 Rose St, Oakridge, Or ,97463 during our collection period from 07/05/2023 to 08/10/2023. We will have designated bins available for your convenience.
4️⃣ Spread the Word: Share this post with your friends, family, and neighbors. Encourage them to contribute and make a positive impact on the lives of children in need.
🙏🤝 Together, let's make this Children's Clothing Drive a tremendous success and bring joy to the faces of these young souls. Every small effort counts, and with your help, we can make a lasting difference in their lives.
🌟 Remember, the clothes we collect will directly benefit children in our local community, ensuring they have the clothing essentials they need to thrive. Thank you for your generosity and support!
If you have any questions or require additional information, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Let's make this initiative a true reflection of compassion and unity. 💞

Information Update
This afternoon around 1 pm there was a fire in the dumpster in the East High School parking lot. The fire was kept under control by OSD staff working to keep fire from spreading. At no time was there a danger to staff, students, or structures. The Oakridge Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the fire.
Thank you to all who saw the fire and alerted 911 and the District.
Dear Parents & Community Members:
It is important to me that I let you know personally that I have made a professional decision to resign from the employment of the Oakridge School Board as Superintendent effective June 30, 2023. I would especially like parents and community members to know that, over the past five years, I have enjoyed working with students, staff and families in Oakridge. It has truly been a wonderful experience for me to work together with you to achieve advances in our instructional practices that have had an impact on the education of our children. Together, we have been able to accomplish so much in the support and advancement of our students, staff and community. Furthermore, I am confident that, because of the systems and supports that have been established, including the development and adoption of a consistent framework for teaching and supporting student learning, after my departure, the thoughtful and student focused work of the District will continue.
I am very appreciative of the Oakridge families and community for your support throughout my tenure at the District. You are a very caring and dedicated community. I appreciate the many positive connections over the years. The Oakrige community exemplifies what it means to be supportive, especially in some of the most challenging times in our schools. You are a special community and I wish the Oakridge Community and School District continued success.
